Tribune - The Chicago Cubs’ second annual bunting tournament ended Sunday with David DeJesus defending his title, edging Nate Halm, the team’s video and advance scouting assistant. Many of the players and management were openly rooting for Halm, at least the ones who didn’t have money on DeJesus.
I guess people are making a big deal out of this? A bunting contest where a bunch of professionals were beaten by a video assistant? Yawn city. Seriously who cares about bunting these days? Not that important anymore. It’s like the handjob of baseball. Just so 20th century it’s not even funny. Nate Helm will get my attention when he goes yard with 2 men on base and until then I’ve heard about enough of him.
