So I guess I think I understand it now. Ponder was doing what was right for the team because his injury meant he wasn’t at 100%. RGIII should have come out of the game because he was clearly injured, prone to further injury (WHICH ENDED UP HAPPENING), and was not giving his team the best chance to win, yet Cutler was a bad teammate and a pussy 2 years ago. I think I got this. Everyone is MURDERING Shanahan today for not taking RGIII out of the game, yet 2 years ago the exact opposite happened.

cutler wasn’t ruled inactive for the remainder of the game therefore could have played. he didn’t. RG3 played. RG3 also can run around and make shit happen with his legs whereas cutler just sucks and throws shit up for grabs. RG3 most likely wouldn’t have been injured further if he stayed in the pocket and just got rid of it unless needed to run for first down. ponder has an elbow issue on his THROWING arm. just because you lob the ball in warm ups doesn’t mean you can fire it effectively when the game starts
