Dude Doing Conceal And Carry Accidentally Shoots His Wife When His Gun Goes Off In A Restaurant
Kansas City - Kansas officials are reviewing the events surrounding a man’s accidental shooting of his wife last week at the Longbranch Steakhouse in Lenexa. Police said the two were sitting across from each other in a booth about 8:15 p.m. Jan. 2 when the man reached into his front pants pocket and accidentally discharged a small pistol, striking his wife in the leg just above the knee. She was treated at a hospital and released. The man had a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon, said Officer Dan Friesen of the Lenexa Police Department. But Kansas law does not allow people to carry concealed weapons if they are under the influence of alcohol. It is a Class A misdemeanor. Friesen said the Johnson County district attorney’s office was reviewing the case to decide whether to file a charge. He said the Kansas attorney general’s office will also review the case to determine whether to revoke the man’s concealed-carry permit.
I don’t really like to throw my hat in the ring when it comes to serious topics like gun control. To be totally honest I have no idea which side is right. Those against it say it’s infringing on their rights and that firearms help arm and protect you from fucking lunatics. Makes sense to me. On the other side people are for it because the less guns that are out there, the less chance said fucking lunatic gets his hands on one in the first place. In my brain both of those check out.
But here’s the thing. The people that love and own guns are usually pretty handy with them. They understand how to use them. If normal people like me started doing conceal and carry this accidental shooting shit would be happening all the time. I’d accidentally shoot myself in the dick probably immediately. Try to put the gun in my waistline like a hardo and blast my cock all over the floor. Or try to squeeze into a seat on the couch and fire off a few rounds into the leg of the person sitting next to me. Every time I get uncomfortable and change my positioning or reach for some Doritos there’d be at least a 50% chance someone gets murdered by mistake. The jails would be overflowing with idiots who Plaxico’d themselves serving 2 year bids because we didn’t know what the fuck we were doing.
So yeah, I see both sides of the debate. But I don’t trust most people with getting me a beer out of the fridge. Probably never leave my room again if everyone was packing heat wherever you go.

I’m so glad you recognize this in yourself. You’re turning a corner.
The Constitution trumps any bleeding heart, weepy vagina, emotional, reactionary liberal bullshit out there. Tweaking the 2nd with this gun and not that gun is tantamount to tweaking the 1st with this speech is ok and this speech isn’t.
The height of cocky = unarmed liberals attempting to take guns out of peoples hands.
Now that you’re making fun of yourself, I’m having a tough time doing it
Surprisingly I didn’t hate this blog… Keep up the mediocre work Neil.
That was actualyl pretty funny ” blast my cock all over the floor” laughed out loud
Im not pro gun or against but i just cant see why pro gun lunatics cant give up automatic weapons and assault rifles. like you can treat it like its a joke and its the pussification of america but in the end it would save lives. pro gun people need to calm their shit and realize that the government isnt out to get them. fuck
This is similar to the slide that occurred with smokers. When the conversation first started, it was asked of them to go to a specific area in a restaurant so as not to bother other patrons, seemed innocuous enough. Then it was asked of them to move to a separate room entirely. Now they are huddled outside in freezing temperatures to catch a smoke. I am not a smoker and at first thought the requests were reasonable, but once that slide starts there is no stopping it as each new step can be “justified”. This is why the NRA is standing their ground. I am neither a smoker, nor a gun toter….but I fully support their rights. Beware the tyranny of the majority, or you will soon find yourself on their wrong side.
There isn’t a gun out there accurate enough for Neil to shoot his tiny dick off…
jiffylube, why dont you read up on the subject before commenting? Automatic weapons are illegal. Why dont you do some research on the assault weapon ban previously tried in this country? Complete failure.
Make all the well-intentioned, stupid laws you want, but it wont affect crime. The only things you accomplish are disarming law abiding citizens and making the world safe for criminals
This just makes me more afraid of the dude behind me at the movies in the loose sweatpants….he goes to scratch his nuts and BOOM half of my face is splattered everywhere…I legit look behind me when i sit down.
jiffyfool – look up what citizens can do to keep tyrannical governments from fucking their people.
Look up other countries who gave up their guns to their governments and what happened to them.
common sense–It’s obvious what’s going on here, you watch entirely too much Fox News and that has made you feel victimized by a fictional government that you think wants to take your guns. Obama has signed two bills involving guns over the last 4 years, both of which EXPANDED gun rights, and didn’t curtail them. Your tyrannical government simply doesn’t exist, and frankly, it makes you sound crazy.
@jiffy-sorry that some of the other people here feel the need to be condescending douchebags but you do seem to be a bit off. “Assault weapons” is a term that the media is pushing in a miserable attempt to control this debate through fear, the big scary AR-15 they use as the prime example is very small (.223 caliber) and comparable to a basic hunting rifle. Additionally any type of automatic weapon can only be acquired by those with Class III permits which as far as I know are next to impossible to get.
1.) Vote for people who refuse to cut any military spending, 2.) Act like you’re actually concerned about that military attacking you, even as you vote to make it unbeatable. 3.) Try to revolt. 4.) Get drone bombs dropped all over your dick.
pittfan yeah the tyrannical government doesn’t exist BECAUSE of the 2nd amendment…with it there is literally zero percent chance of a Hitler Mao or Stalin coming to power…without it there is a chance, a small one, but it sure ain’t zero anymore
nightface…if people with inferior firepower couldn’t defeat state of the art militaries Afghanistan would be a Russian territory today
hey common sense- you realize that the 1st Amendment has been tweaked right. You can’t libel or slander people and you can’t incite a riot. So basically your point is retarded.
You know they have this stuff called Coke that is basically the real deal?
“RC Cola the Down Syndrome Drink – open a can an dwink awaaaay!”
pittfan – its obvious whats going on here, you watch entirely too much MSNBC, and that has made you feel like gun owners are complete paranoid lunatics, and that by making laws keeping firearms out of the hands of registered gun owners will stop criminals from breaking those laws. We live in a country that can’t even stop people from illegally crossing its southern border. In fact we have a government that just got caught peddling assault rifles to Mexico. I think we’d be very hard pressed to stop guns coming across that border illegally as well.
The notion that a tyrannical government cannot exist at some point in this country is crazy. History is riddled with democracies going tyrannical. It happened in France in the 19th century, in Spain in the last century, happened in Germany, in Italy, in Japan. It may not happen for another 50 or 100 years, but its possible. In almost all of those circumstances, citizens were not allowed to keep & bear arms as we are.
Im with shao, just make fun of yourself, gun debate aside, this is the funniest thing you have written.
No one said the 2nd amendment wasn’t good or in effect. All I’m saying is that the perpetual fear machine that makes people run out and buy guns when a Democrat is elected or after, yet another, school shooting occurs, is unfounded. All most people on the left (myself included) want is an honest discussion on how to stop senseless violence. But that discussion is completely filibustered by those on the right that see the 2nd Amendment as an absolute protection to any sort of firearm they want…which simply isn’t a feasible interpretation. We already regulate dangerous things, rocket launchers, grenades, apache helicopters…why not high magazine, semi-automatic weapons?
I choked on a gob stopper when I read ‘blast my cock all over the floor’..Bravo Neil
So you had no legitimate response to me debunking your idiotic comment so you insult me. Mark of a real genius.
I chose not to reply to a weak attempt at validating more tweaks based on your fear of gun rights. There are big differences in the 2nd and 1st. I was using it as a faint example. You on the other hand feel that tweaks on the 1st mean we can continue to run nilly willy through the Constitution. Free speech is next to be attacked in the attempt of removing more of our rights.
Nothing states that I CAN’T scream fire in my own theatre or say something liable if I want.
Just like there are rules on the books regarding the 2nd when it comes to just being able to shoot people with whatever gun and not have to be shot back at or go to jail for murder.
So again what’s retarded in my comparison you fucking idiot?
I read the comments for the new and creative ways that people ask Neil to harm himself, not for a debate about the 2nd amendment.
When did I say any of that? I’m not your straw man. I merely pointed out your flawed analogy which you then used as an opportunity to personally attack me.
I’m not about to read this entire pile of spunk you call a blog but I will say this. No one ever “accidentally” shoots their wife. I bet this bro is pissed he only hit her leg. All you can hope for is maybe you hit the cunt’s femoral artery and she’ll bleed out before the ambulance gets there.
The Second Amendment, like every other amendment, is not without its limitations. I mean, we can’t own, or even possess, nuclear weapons, grenades, chemical weapons, etc. So, the question becomes: Who should decide these limits, the NRA (i.e., unelected officials) or elected officials?
I must say, I have frequented shooting ranges, and I wish to own a gun some day; however, weapons of war have no place in a modern, civilized society.
P.S. People pay so much attention to the Second Amendment, but not much attention to the Ninth Amendment. It is a darn shame.
