How’d you like to be Matt Cassel getting out of bed this morning? Got benched in favor of Brady fucking Quinn yesterday. Head probably still throbs from when 70,000 of your own fans cheered your frontal lobe getting smashed into a bowl of soup a few weeks ago. And now this guy literally up and dies because your team is so awful and they’re straddled with your $63 million contract. Throw in the fact that it’s Monday and there’s a good chance Cassel ends up throwing himself off a bridge or checking into the Mayo Clinic for the same shit Jesse Jackson Jr’s got. Like I can’t imagine he doesn’t feel at least partly responsible for Loren Lickteig kicking the bucket. Just real tough having to live with that now.
